Who is Yarho?

Hello, I am Yarho. Or rather, that isn’t my REAL name but I prefer to be called that online. It is pronounced Ya-ru, Or you may call me Mars. I am a 20 year old college student residing in Ontario, Canada. I am easily distracted and my interest tends to flit from one thing to another (pfft, how is that different for everyone else?).

I began using the internet at the age of 9 and I created my own crappy Digimon fansite at the age of 10. Since then I have made a point of having some form of a website though, I’m not going to lie, I haven’t gotten much better at the webmaster thing since I was 10.

Since before I can remember, I enjoy making people laugh. It’s a big part of how I communicate with others and who I am.

I love meeting new people, there are so many amazing individuals out there and I am honored to have met every single one of the people that I have. Which is another reason I love social networking type sites and forums, you meet people you could not have met otherwise.

 

My hobbies include: anime, manga, drawing, and writing. Strangely enough these hobbies tend to be separate from my social life, I scarcely have anyone I talk about anime or manga with.

 

Drawing and writing are particularly important to me. Writing because that and story-telling is what got me to want to draw in the first place. Drawing has been with me since I STARTED using the internet. Hell, I wouldn’t be this addicted to it if it wasn’t for drawing. And yes, I draw predominately anime/manga styled artwork, that is not to say that I don’t appreciate other forms of artwork. Combining the best of both worlds I am an amateur comic artist. I have no accomplishments to my name but my online comic Moonless Night has been in the works for almost 6 years now and it’s my pride and joy.
