What is this?

“Drabbles of an Internet Nobody” is the whimsical blog of 19-year-old Yarho, as she likes to call herself (it is pronounced Ya-ru). The idea for this blog started as a whim on part of the creator as do many of her endeavors. She had tried full on blogging but found it dull, long winded, and boring as she had nothing of interest to talk about.

Video blogging was another attempt but after not-so-rave reviews, coupled with a distaste of watching oneself being filmed and shitty editing the teen decided that was not the path she wanted to follow.

Micro-blogging was intriguing yet she already knew she didn’t have anything quite so interesting to share with the masses in such a quick witty fashion and retired that after a mere day. Twitter was the closest thing to a blog as she came, an outlet where she could spout whatever she had on her mind and receive instant responses.

So she thought, “wouldn’t it be great if I could just say what I wanted to say without having to sit down and type?”.

Then the idea hit her! She would start a voice blog! That way she could rant and rave about whatever she wanted without having to stare into a camera or dress appropriately! Thus this blog was born. While there will be a great deal of voice blogs or “soundbites,” the blog is meant to be a multifaceted form of expression. Meaning there will be soundbites, traditional written blogs, and possibly, possibly, vlogs.
